Facebook alive. Welcome to Business Spotlight, Suzy

Suzy Simonson
I’m so excited to be here.

Jasna Burza
I am just really grateful I have been doing these calls and Wednesdays, and talking to fascinating individuals. And I’m always amazed every single time I do this, that how many brilliant people are doing brilliant work among them. And yet, because of the culture we live in, we happen to kind of operate in silos. So this is an attempt to bring us together, it just kind of this collective that will be very, I think, beautiful. And I think very, very healing for for all of us. So thank you, thank you, you are just such a versatile entrepreneur, you are a strategist, you’re a coach, you’re a speaker, and an author, like all the things in supporting the people tell me a little bit about, you know, the work that you do with clients, because you’re really, really adamant about this notion of people borrowing your belief and confidence and just get this momentum in sales and just putting yourself out there.

Suzy Simonson
Yes, absolutely. So the first thing that I want to ensure that I say that people know, no matter if they work with me, if they don’t work with with me, for friends, because social media makes easy is that you are exactly who your world needs. And if you shrink back, your world will go without, you are exactly who your world needs, and you shrink back your will go without. And it’s a huge thing that I’ve learned from stroke is that the people in my life were exactly who I need. And I didn’t have a voice. So I’m able to ask them to be that. And so now if I know someone for two minutes, I share that with them. Because so many times so many times we wonder, Am I am I doing enough? Am I doing what’s right, and the beautiful thing about that is that my family and my friends showed up as they were right. So that being able to add you are in who you are. So that’s what I urge my my dream clients. So I call my dream clients, because we only work with Dream clients. Because how many times have you wondered, should I work with them? Should I work with them? Are we a good fit, you know, all of them only except clients where what that means is that I see this three, five months down the road. So I can’t see that I can help someone out. I don’t offer my services. And it’s just just a truly like transparent way that it’s better for every Phaedo. And, and so the people that we work with really are entrepreneurs and health care professionals. So and what we get to do with them is to draw out your confidence, your strength and your determination to live the life that you want. Oh,

Jasna Burza
that’s powerful. And he doesn’t need that. Right. But what are people that come to you? What are they struggling with?

Suzy Simonson
A lot of times struggling with? Just that sureness of, Am I doing the right thing? And am I doing it in the right way? Or having so much going on in their minds? Because as entrepreneurs, we wear so many hats, and we do so many things that wondering what’s the next right step? No. So to be able to tell them where they are, acknowledge where they are. We actually have a VIP program and the VIP room in partnership. Is your event important person, every single person, very important person. But what I do we celebrate the victories. We talk about your improvements, and we make a plan. And so in that celebrating the victories quantum visit says when you’ve been seven direction, you’re going to continue in that direction. So if you’re in a bad you’re in a bad place or spent in that mood, okay, you’ll turn that thing

Jasna Burza
or you’ll turn it around. I’m curious, where does that come from? Because I study a lot of quantum physics where does it come from? What do you know if there’s a study about seven?

Suzy Simonson
Actually, I will I will find the exact place I at seminar and And then I went to the quoting that I need to know comes from. And so it says like that, then I’ll find I’ll find that thing on the on Facebook versus going.

Jasna Burza
Yeah, I love that. And it’s, I think the you know, stressing the importance of where are you focusing your attention to? And also that that momentum, which is really, really important. So what are you speak all over the world? Yeah. What are some of the topics you speak about to audiences?

Suzy Simonson
Yeah. So is that you are exactly who your world needs. Because I need things for other people, and we won’t do them for ourselves. So we not step into something that we know that we want to do. But if someone else will be affected, we’ll do it. Now, the other thing I speak on is borrow my belief, like you said before, borrow my belief comes from the stroke and healing from the stroke that my family believed that I was going to pull through, you know, and that’s going to be 100%. So borrow my belief is borrow my belief until it’s yours. What were you given will generously be forced? Because how many times have you heard something on the radio and you hear and you’re like, for my sister’s for my friend? That’s for email? And like, if we keep it to ourselves, then it doesn’t go anywhere? When we share it with them? Actually do something. And okay, sorry. No, no, they don’t powerful. Well,

Jasna Burza
you talked about that in your book, which is quite successful book, your, you just stroke to success? You know, tell us a little bit about that, because you had a stroke in 2010. And then you draw these parallels between, you know, your stroke experience, and then the experience in business and some of the things that your clients, I would love to hear your philosophy and a little bit how that can be helpful to you. To others.

Suzy Simonson
Yeah, yes, totally. So one of the things that I that I talk about the most is, they say in sales that it takes like seven to eight times to get a sale to get a you know, like when you’re building a relationship with somebody, and then for the Yes. And one of the one of the chapters in my books is seven times and then dash 12 times, because what I did is that there, so it’s kind of a funny story, I would stop by an office, and she pretty much told me good luck to earn her business. And so I just kept on I went back 12 weeks in a row, and I started filling, like, I brought a candy jar. And I asked her if I could fill it every week. And I would say, you know, I want to get to know, you and your family, like and earn your business. You know, eventually I became the godmother to her children. And I got to go because of that consistency. I got to go to Australia for a month off of the business that she brought in. So if I would have quit, if I would have let go, you know and not built the relationship and not had that there. You know, that that tenacity or the determination that when she said good luck, you know, that was more of a challenge for me. And the doctors said that I would be a vegetable and told my parents that I would be a vegetable. And I feel like that was equivalent to the good luck. Yeah, that like that, no matter where you’re at, no matter what situation you’re in, whether it’s business, whether it’s life just know that you’re here for a reason. And to push past the like to keep going and to no matter what you Yes, yes. Do what brings you strength, you know. So that’s that’s a huge thing is to be able to to strengthen yourself and believe the people around you and surround yourself with amazing people.

Jasna Burza
Oh, I love that. So I assume that people can really powerful, powerful essence that people can buy the book on Amazon, or wherever the books are found and how can people find you how can they best you and work with you and continue to learn from you?

Suzy Simonson
Yes, absolutely. So the best way right now, we are redesigning our website and so the best way would be email so I’m gonna give my email just to say that they saw me here you know, All of that. So my email is Suz. Why? So Suzy, at stroke to success, so stroke to success.com. So that’s the best way right now. And I would love to get together I do virtual coffee dates, so to be able to get to know people and so all around the world. Yeah, that’s the best way right now,

Jasna Burza
Susie, thank you so much for you, first of all, taking the time, but you know, to share your expertise with us. But just for, I think being the beacon of light and doing the work very often what I find is that our painful moments are things that we have struggled with become such a beautiful force of empowerment for others. So it’s kind of great, you could have said, Well, I’m not going to do that. But here you are, right. And giving to others because of the experience. And for that I’m personally very, very thankful. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Suzy Simonson
Yes, thank you so much. Oh, and I haven’t measured mentioned I work one on one and in group settings, so
