Christina Lazarakis: journey toward self love and permission to create

Yes you can, but you have to start by taking small action every day.

Hello beautiful people!

I am back with those life changing pieces of content and this interview is just that.

Christina Lazarakis is an artist, singer and songwriter. That is who she has always been and before self sabotaging voices showed up, she spent her days creating and giving of herself through various art forms: painting, making music, singing in a band, acting in plays and films, singing fabulous songs……and then she stopped ALL of it for 7 years.

Christina came to me beginning of this year and she felt stuck……she knew she had much to offer but absence from creation has created so much fear and anxiety. She lost her true self for a moment and wasn’t sure if it was possible to get it back. We rolled up our sleeves and got to work. It wasn’t easy, but it was beautiful – that much I can say!

It was incredible to watch her try and give herself a chance again. This interview comes on the heels of the release of her single “In the Light” that you will get a chance to hear her perform. Today, Christina is fully immersed into all forms of creating and showing up as her best self but this work was all about inner peace, loving and accepting oneself and trusting the journey. Here are some things we cover:

What does it mean to be a creative person in today’s world?
How did she manage to turn her life around in such a short amount go time?
Why did she stop making music in the first place?
She started an experiment on Instagram – we talk what she learned about it
She shares her advice for anyone who has a dream and wants to express her/himself
And so much more!

You will absolutely love this woman, love the interview and her voice. And – if you want to support her, go and download her new song HERE. We all need to support those that create for the beauty of it and want to enrich this world through their art. And follow Christina on Instagram here.

Yes you can, but you have to start by taking small action every day. Here’s a recent video I did that will compliment these tips!

The danger behind fitting in

Someone recently set me on fire by saying that I should make sure my kids fit into the American society by going out my way to provide cultural experiences because their parents are immigrant and God forbid they stood out. I think this is how we create cages for our kids and ourselves and it’s a danger to society and I explain why.

80/20 formula

80/20 formula

As I develop personally and work with others, I am tapping into something rather magical and during a very early morning meditation, it came to me as 80/20 formula and I wanted to share it with you.

This past week, I wanted to throw in the towel

This past week, I wanted to throw in the towel

I am the most optimistic, glass half full and “things are going to work out” person in the entire world. I just am, I was born this way. Then, this past week I have experienced some really tough conversations and some really negative people. At some point, I got so discouraged and just wanted to go away.
