My evening routine
I wanted to take you behind the scenes of my evening routine (no makeup and yoga clothes approved:)) and show you my intimate part of life that helps me stay grounded and more peaceful.
My morning routine is always different. I have two small children who like to wake up in the morning at odd times so I cannot count on a specific routine. Most days, I get up few hours before they do and I drink coffee in bed while I read, pray or work. Whatever I feel inspired to do. Some days, I only make my bed and that’s one thing that I always do – no matter what happens.

My evening routine is different since I have more flexibility. It’s something both my husband and I do and I think it can be a powerful way to go to bed. Today, I share with you what I like to do most night before I go to bed.
Sometimes, I move the evening routine to my bedroom. This process of calming the nervous central system, going to bed relaxed and at peace helps me tremendously and helps me wake up refreshed and recharged.
To all of you out there who have small children or really hectic lives – I get that some days you just want to go to bed without brushing your teeth. And some days will be just that. But – if you can carve out even 5 minutes for yourself, I think that it can change your life for the better.

You have to find what works for you. I know the temptation is sometimes to go to bed watching TV but research is conclusive – this interrupts the sleep and doesn’t allow the body to prepare for restful period.
On the other hand, two of my favorite teachers: Neville Goddard and Wayne Dyer talked at length about choosing your last hours and minutes before bed carefully. They said that the subconscious mind likes to marinate in whatever you went to bed with, so try visualization or some food for the soul.
