Every part was just a part of it. You know, it’s just I’m just using it as an atom.
Jasna Burza 0:04
I love that it will arise you welcome to Business Spotlight. Finally, finally, right, we’ve been talking about what you and I met month, thanks to Jen, of course, who is running all things marketing for for my companies and she’s such an incredible connector
Raju Karki 0:24
amazing, always does an amazing job always
Jasna Burza 0:27
does such an amazing job so far grateful for her. But I was able to come into your studio that you have created and to see what an incredible place it is to film. And to take photos in its you’ve actually created six different studios in one space, which is just so beautiful. So tell us about transit is digital marketing about your studio space, and about who Raju is.
Raju Karki 0:55
Absolutely. Thank you. Thank you so much for all the good things that you said about the studio. But and let me just add on to that. It’s not just six setups, you could like anyone who’s in the studio, and they could come up with like, over 50 ideas, 50 backdrop ideas and you know, setup for themselves to create content and making videos. So let me start with a quick presentation that I created. Just this is like an introduction to for this live session we’re doing. So let me share my screen real quick here. Should we present this first?
Jasna Burza 1:35
So folks, if you’re just tuning in, we’re talking to Roger Karki, who is the head of the Twin Cities digital marketing. And he is a videographer a video expert. And he also owns it’s such an incredible studio for creators to create and you know, you are a connector yourself as well, Raj, you. Huh? I’m sorry. Sorry. I was going over that presentation real quick. Yeah. Hello. Oh, no, I’m like you’re you’re quite the connector yourself as well.
Raju Karki 2:10
Yep. Thank you. I try. Alright, so I’m going to start the presentation with a quote by Gary Vee. And which is I’m going to let you in on a little secret if if you’re not making some kind of video content right now you’re losing period. And I think a lot of you guys are might already know this and you’re creating content. If you’re not well, this is your cue to get started. So right, I am, Roger Karki, and CEO and video marketing strategies at Twin Cities digital marketing. And I’m also the owner at Twin Cities creative studio. We’re located in Bloomington, Minnesota, he has to address and I’ve been doing videos and marketing for about four years and focusing on particularly on video marketing since last two and a half years and you know, for the past two three years video content marketing has been commenting like it’s been growing massively compared to the past decade that we’ve been through so and it’s growing so fast and as I was creating videos for my clients you know, I came across like questions where hey, can we do a different spots can we do a different location because we want something different every time so as I was made of creating content and making videos producing videos off that I had to spend hundreds of dollars to boot the studio and then you know, move around my camera gears, my lighting years, everything you just film one or two videos every time I make content or you know, for my clients. So you know, and it cost really expensive to book those studios, you know, $200 $250 for a good decent one weather’s good, decent setup, and something that you’re looking for something clients are looking for. So you know, 250 250 this is about an average that the cost is right now. And you know, this brought me an idea like it made me thinking what if what if I just start my own studio, you know, because I’m already creating videos for my clients and I could use the studio for myself and I could also share that studio with other creators other business owners out there so that is how to insert his creative studio was born. So here’s a quick video of we did with our influencer and we did like she did a great job like promoting the space and it kind of explains of who we are and what it is what the story is about. And let me just play this video real quick. Let me know if the audio is working or not. Is it working?
Jasna Burza 4:56
I can’t hear her.
Raju Karki 4:58
You can’t shoot Okay no, no, no. Okay. All right. So all right. Only if I can change anything Yeah.
Jasna Burza 5:18
Well, it’s just just see the space beautifully.
Raju Karki 5:21
So let’s just use this space, but it’s kind of funny. That’s why I wanted to show us this video if you’re a content creator, your content unique content, you can come to the space, especially if anything right now, you have Yes, you can bring your guests and put it on the on the chair. Have them sit there and wait. We have coffee. If you want headshots for your brand, we got backdrops that you can take pictures and you can make videos, we got professional setups that you can use for your podcast or your YouTube or even for the shoots. If you’re doing video shoots, you know, some brand photos, videos, you have sets for bed. And this is you know, we got backdrops that you can use. I’ve been backdrops like this so this is just hearing about check it out.
Jasna Burza 6:24
Alright, funded studio.
Raju Karki 6:26
Yeah, exactly. So and, you know, we have if you booked the studio, you can, you’d like the things that are included are lighting, professional video lighting equipments, so you don’t have to worry about lighting and all of that. And you’re, you’re bound to create professional quality videos with just by just using your phone, we got backdrops, we got video sets, so that you can choose like, Hey, I think I want something green today, you can go with the green, Hey, maybe I think I want something on my background that that has a bed on it that looks like looks like looks like my bedroom, or my vanity where I do my makeup for makeup brand or stuff like that. So you are if you’re creating a podcast or YouTube videos, you know, stuff like that, for your brand for your business. We can there’s a small setup where there’s couches, you know, it’s it’s a beautiful setup, you can sit down there and do your videos, and, and all and you don’t even need the camera, if you have your phone. That’s all you need. You can create those contents easily. And our other services include dedicated assistant. Now I know not everyone needs a videographer. Sometimes Sometimes you just need that second or third person to say hey, did I say that right? On the video. Was that done? Did I stutter today was was Did I look on the right direction, you know those stuffs so there will be a you will have an option to choose a dedicated assistant. So you know and you don’t have to pay the price of a videographer to do it to do that. And for something like this there’s everything is in the studio in the studio is included and dedicated assistant, you’ll know how to use every equipments there. So in case you’re worried about I don’t know how to use the lighting equipments, then that’s fine, the system can help you out, you know, figure out how to use those lights the right way. And you all you need to do is bring your phone or your camera and then we can help you out. If you think you need a videographer with professional cameras and all of that make it really crisp. All of those you know, video shoots we do have a did refer as an option and you can book them like half day or full day at the studio. Alright, so apart from our video marketing and production services, we have just started offering video editing services to business owners. So and who do not know how to edit videos are maybe simply you want do you want a professional video editing done to their like with, like, with professional captions, sound effects and motion graphics? No, like the one that you see with Gary Vee. And all of those creators like be creators out there. Now this cost this service may cost you as low as $25 per video, depending on the length type of editing and the number of videos that you do with us. So this is super cheap, because usually video editing can cost you 7500 $200 For like for single video, but just because you need videos done daily, and it’s to make it affordable for everyone with come up with a plan to figure out come up with an idea to figure out how we can help you you know, edit those videos for and you know, at a cheaper rate and then the quality as well. And the turnaround time is 123 days. Now, so this is a promotion that I would like to do today for 10 cities digital marketing. And there’s one quick example that we just did, and that no special for today for everyone who is watching this video, you know until end of this year. So at the end of this year, anybody who reaches out to me by the end of this year I will be creating seven short phone videos content for free. That is value driven and focus on your business. You know, for anyone who reaches out to me within after watching this video
Jasna Burza 10:14
that is incredibly generous.
Raju Karki 10:17
Yep. And you know, I’ll film it you all you have to do is come up with ideas what to say you know all of that if you are not sure what to do about what to say, and all of that, you can just talk to me, I’ll figure it out to help you out, you know, help y’all figure out how to find this content, how to write your scripts, and everything. So here’s a quick example of how the video would look, since the audio is working. I think this should pretty much explain what kind of output you get, you know, in terms of quality, the captions and hope that the song or you could just check out our Twin Cities digital marketing Instagram page, where we’ll be posting these videos very soon. So there’s sound effects, there’s no captions, there’s images, motion graphics.
Jasna Burza 11:07
That looks amazing browser.
Raju Karki 11:10
So seven videos for anyone who watches this video and reaches out to me is free. Can you hear the audio?
Jasna Burza 11:16
That’s huge. I cannot hear but I can see. That’s incredible. That is really mean looks very engaging, and very, very, I suppose difficult and challenging to make as well. Thank you.
Raju Karki 11:31
For this would have three hours depending on you know how long the video is, you know, up to 60 seconds? Yeah. So in the you could get it done at really, you know, affordable price turnaround time, you just fast. Maybe you want that video out for something that you’re promoting in two days? Well, it’d be ready in two days. So it just depends what you want. All right, so you can reach out to me on my email, or Instagram or wherever it is, if you want to do you know this with me? Just I’m happy to, you know, help you out make those videos.
Jasna Burza 12:05
Well, you guys, if you’re listening, this is an incredible deal that everyone should jump in. Is there a cap that you’re doing, Roger?
Raju Karki 12:13
Okay, no cap. As long as this you reach out to me before the end of this year. I’ll keep doing it.
Jasna Burza 12:18
That’s incredible. Folks, if you have really wanted to create a set of videos or so engaging for others, this is this is a deal. You cannot you just cannot pass up on. This is extremely generous. I really want to thank you for bringing this to our audience.
Raju Karki 12:35
Let me just add on to that. I did say like, there’s no cap, but you know, sometimes you never know how crazy it could go. So let me put a cap to that. Because I was like, oh, shoot, if I get busy busy, then yeah, so I would say as long as it’s not over, you know, I’m not over schedule. So I would be happy to do it. So as soon as I’m over schedule, then, you know, I will let them know like, Hey, this is a whole app, stop doing it. But it would be I think I’m taking quite a lot a lot of like a lot of this videos. So yeah, let’s see,
Jasna Burza 13:09
folks if you want to jump on this, it will be a now I’m actually going to have Jana clip this and share it on other platforms as well so people can take advantage of it. So this is great. Is there anything else you want to show us are gonna ask you some questions?
Raju Karki 13:26
Nope, thank you for you know, giving the media me this opportunity to share about my business, my services and all of that but my studio and if anyone has any questions, this is the time that you know they get to answer the questions.
Jasna Burza 13:40
Oh, I love that what I can’t see the question Is there going to be my questions because I’m not talking the questions there. So my question to you I suppose is the what are let me see over here there we go. Just so I can so I can see you what you know why what is it about video these days? So there is just capturing it seems to be everywhere. I have reels in Tik Tok. You know, and and it is such a low barrier to entry. Do you think that this is going to be the progression of the futures like all things are going to be video?
Raju Karki 14:20
Yeah, I think so. Yeah. Videos, anything that you can see live. This this is the future it’s it’s not going to go away. Even if you move on to VR, you know, the the mera mera world. metaverse. Sorry. Even if you move on to the metaverse, their screen recordings, there’s videos that you’ll be making while you’re doing that. So I think video is never going to go away it is it will be there in some form or the other. And I think yet, then this is the peak. This is the exact time that you should be getting on to any video, promote, like marketing video apps that that are out Unlike YouTube, LinkedIn, you know, anything. So I think this is, this is the right thing. And it’s just not going away.
Jasna Burza 15:07
I have another question for you there, I have few clients who are doing video, they’re doing a lot of it, and it’s pretty good video, but because all of a sudden, it seems there, there’s saturation, they’re not getting traction, there’s just like, like, they’re just not getting the results that they want. Any suggestions or tips for them?
Raju Karki 15:29
So if it depends, what are you looking for? Right? So when you’re creating videos, I would not like typically just go for what’s the results? What are the results that you’re looking for.
Jasna Burza 15:42
So harness, just more views, brand awareness, more awareness.
Raju Karki 15:46
So I would say just keep doing be consistent. That’s one of the major factor that you have to consider. Keep improving on your videos, find ways to make sure your videos are getting better. And you are following, you know, guidelines that you see that Did you see that other creators are using that? What’s working out for them? You know, finding our videos and seeing and like finding ideas like how, why was that video and asking questions like, why is this video working? So, so well? Like? What did what was there in the first few seconds of the videos? And what was involved in this video? Was it you know, fun? Was it informative? What is that, so implement those, you know, exit, like those things on your actual videos, and then you know, try to make it better every time you keep doing that test out as much videos as you can. So I think testing is one of the most important thing when you’re making videos, if you’re just creating one simple form of video and you keep doing it, it’s not working. And then you you can complain, like why isn’t it working? Right? So I think to begin with, try out everything that you can everything you can think of. And then once you figure out which one’s working out for you, then you narrow things down and keep focusing on those, I think that’s one of the most important way that you can, you know, try to improve your brand awareness.
Jasna Burza 17:06
So there’s, this is gonna be an interesting question for you, because you’re an artist, right? And I see with artists as you create these videos, I have a little bit of an issue with that, right? So it’s like in tick mark is like, if you talk about cakepops. And randomly in that video, like it becomes where all of a sudden you become the cake bot person, what you really want to do is create art. But there are certain people who in the mainstream because they want to quick bites that are, you know, temporary, they don’t fully understand. So you’re not going to have as many people respecting your art. Should you give up on it? Or should you? Do you know what I mean? Because I feel like if you’re following what, what is resonating with people, sometimes what’s resonating is a low denominator that doesn’t speak to us.
Raju Karki 17:54
That’s a very good question. But I can create the like, I think I understand like part of it, but I didn’t understand
Jasna Burza 18:04
that. So for example, there’s sometimes you can have the silliest, most ridiculous 15 second video that resonates with others, you’re like, Oh my God, why did this resonate? or and or you can spend four hours creating the most beautiful cinematography, cinema, cinema, cinematography, filled 32nd That you poured your heart and soul into, and people are like, okay, whatever, like into yours like this, but this is so much better. Yes, the silly, insignificant, seemingly insignificant thing to the audience,
Raju Karki 18:40
I think I got this, that’s what I was thinking what what you meant, but I just had to make sure. So I think for something like this, I do, like I kind of have like, strategy for to create videos. And this is how I would want my clients to see this as so when you’re doing the silly 15 to 22nd videos, don’t use that as, like, as a reference to what you know, the audience are, that don’t put that as a foundation, don’t use that as the foundation of who you’re, you know, who you’re resonating with, use that to reach out to people because if you reach out to 1 million people, even if there’s like 1000 people that resonates with you, they’re going to follow you. And then once because you’re posting so many videos, and then the quality video that you made the next day with that you spend four hours, those 1000 people are going to see those videos and then that’s the person who’s got who’s going to be interested to you know, maybe buy your art and stuff like that. So the first the part where you’re gonna get viral, like you know, oh, shoot this, I just made this 1516 You know, 15 second silly video. Just don’t think about what kind of response you get on those just reach a think about who it’s reaching out to, and the impact that it’s having on people. And there’s always you know, if someone likes that, you know, your work, there’s always 1000s that would like that work as well. So you just have to believe like, you know, oh no, give there’s million people that doesn’t like it, it doesn’t matter, there’s always another million that we like your work. Always, there’s always someone just for like, literally we have this person popular and duty. Right? Who would have thought like this, if somebody is one person agrees with them, that we can definitely say there’s a million people that can agree with his views. Oops. So, you know, and it just depends. You just have to have the right mindset when you’re doing, you know, when something like that comes up, just keep focusing on what you’re doing. You know, and when you’re doing those other videos, I think you get the people from the million the unwanted, you know, from few of those unwanted reads that you’ve got, you know, that will like your work that you spent, like four hours working on and it’s beautiful,
Jasna Burza 20:51
that that is one of the best answers I’ve ever heard, I think because I get very frustrated, I feel like sometimes in the creation of content is becoming cheaper, faster, less quality, and sometimes, frankly, simply noise that I think it distracts us from daily lives. And I want to create more art. And yet art is not always what would people want to consume, necessarily, maybe sometimes they just want to laugh or they want to rest. And so that is such a fantastic, fantastic answer today. Folks, as you can see, not only does he know what he’s talking about, he’s actually an incredibly brilliant videographer and editor and then also this incredible studio space that I really believe everyone should check out. So not only do you get to experience the space, he’s going to film these videos for you and edit them. Rajkot, your Santa Claus on the last day of August here. Thank you so much. Thank you so much for taking the time. And we’re folks, we’re going to have the link to rouse you and his email address on top on the thigh below wherever we end up sharing this, and please reach out and find a way to work with him. Thank you so much for taking the
Raju Karki 22:15
time is just just not such a pleasure. Yeah, all right. Have a good one. Thanks so much.
Jasna Burza 22:22
